It was tight at first putting it on, but then again I've never worn anything like this. It's so comfy and almost forces you to stand up straight(good thing).

I'm a waist 34-36 so I got the medium and it was nice and tight. So ya make sure you stick to the size close to your waist. I'm not over weight at all, I only have a small amount of gut which I don't like the look of when wearing nice dress shirts. So I love this for occasions.

Sometimes I wonder though if the permanent attached brief is necessary. At first I wondered how would you go to the bathroom but the it's cleverly unattached at the center under the girdle so you just pull it down.

But if you have to do the sitting thing in the bathroom well you have to take the whole thing off, which brings up the question if the attached briefs are really necessary. I really don't see the girdle having a problem even if the briefs weren't attached so I may another and remove the briefs just to test it.

I was amazed they send them on overnight express shipping. Overall this is awesome, the material is very comfortable. But the price could be a bit lower.

I bought this ver skeptical... its AMAZING... im definitly not a small more like a big medium but any way i bought a small... ppl right away started asking me for the secret or tell me i looked great!!!! im love it got rid of my belly... i totally recommend itt.. and the wiring gives the body a nice shape... BUY IT!!!!

TIP: Order one size up from the size you think you are. I ordered a small (I used their size chart) and I've found that I can't zip up or properly "close" the girdle. And, unfortunately, this seller cannot accept returns or exchanges for this item. So, please be VERY certain you're ordering the correct size!

Other than the size issue I mentioned above, I do like this girdle. If you're expecting this to eliminate the size of your beer gut/belly all together, that will not happen. It drastically reduces the size, but it does not take it away. So, like the title of my review says: Don't expect magic.

The biggest problem you're going to have with this girdle is being able to go poop. This comes with attached underwear so you have absolutely no way of removing it or being able to go poop without having to fully remove the girdle. I suppose one option would be to cut the underwear out, but that's something you'll need to decide. And if you have a hard time getting this on, it's going to be 100 times harder if you're in a public restroom trying to remove it and then put it back on. Something to think about.

Would I recommend this? Sure. Would I go out of my way to give it as a gift? Probably not.

Ok... So maybe there are some of you out there that can relate because this item didn't work for me. I have lost over 150 pounds in the past 5 years. I thank a consistent healthy diet and daily exercise for that. However with all that weight loss, came A LOT of loose skin around my chest, torso, biceps and thighs. Cosmetic surgery is too expensive so I thought that this would help me a great deal and make me feel more confident. Boy was I wrong! Have you ever seen the way a half used tube of toothpaste looks when you squeeze it from the bottom up? Yeah, well try to imagine my flabby a$$ in this light. It did a great job of flattening my muffin top and lifting my butt however it totally pushed my man-boobs up and out like a flippin corset! I seriously looked like a `Rocky Horror Picture Show' reject sans the nylons and heels. FML! So yeah... if you have a slight gutt then this is for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend body suit or compression shirt if you are in my predicament.

I purchased this for my husband as he had requested. The delivery was beyond expectations and reach us really fast. In terms of the product, I guess this is the male version of the female corset and according to my hubby, it can be quite warm and definitely restricts some movement. But seeing we're in a tropical country and the nature of his work, I guess it can't be helped. Its definitely wise to order one size up esp if you are hovering between two sizes (like my hubby). However, if you do have a rather huge tummy, ordering one size up might ensure that you can wear it although we are not quite sure of its effects on reducing waistline.

This product may help you if u only want to work on your billy but if you have a breast problem as well like me it will make you look absouletly 10 times worse

It will last for only a month before the plastic bindings/ribs start to slide out of it's pocket sleeves. The plastic bindngs/ribs will not stay stiff for long and will start to curl to the curve of your waistline.

It serves its purpose, the only issue is that you must make sure it fits you because it can not be return due to US policies in undergarment.

It is a bit awkward to pull up , just a bit . once it is on it is comfotable and definately holds you in and improves your posture .
