Great product. Fits comfortably and offers great support. Important note: runs BIG. I am normally a size 14-16 so I ordered the large. Had to return it because it was so big that the velcro part wrapped too far around to meet the counter-part. Size medium fits fine!

I didn't it purchase this item, my hospital gave it to me to use immediately after giving birth. They said it would help support my c-section incision, and it did. The extra perk was that it also aided in my stomach returning back to my pre-pregnancy size. Since I wasn't breastfeeding, I knew it would take some extra effort to get rid of the fat stomach.

What you can expect - Discomfort, yes, for the first week it will be tight. But, if you want to return to your pre-pregnancy stomach size you'll have to endure it. And it won't be all the time discomfort, just probably when you first put it on and sometimes while sitting down. It's minimal discomfort, but just wanted you to know that you shouldn't expect it to feel like you have nothing on.

During the night - I would take it off. I would also feel pains and I know that it comes from my stomach muscles contracting back to their original size. No pain, no gain. Take some aleve or some tylenol for this. It's not extremely bad, just wanted you know just in case you woke up during the middle of the night with any soreness. Your body has to contract back to it's normal size.

During the day - I would eat what I wanted, but several "small" portions. This increased my metabolism. Also, drink 6-8 glasses of water per day...the water will reduce the swelling and fluid your body has while in the hospital (on I.V's). Also this will help your muscles contract, they need water to do it.

I hope this review has helped someone. Just wanted you to know what to expect, don't expect it to be a walk in the park and remember: It hurts to be beautiful..no pain, no gain.. I'm on my second week from being home after the C-section and my stomach has immediately began going down. After another week (two weeks total), I expect to be down almost to my pre-pregnancy waist size. It's working wonders :)

Now if I could just work on my hips...hmmm.

I just received this post-delivery belt in a medium and it's too large. I was debating whether to get a small or not, but balked since I normally wear a med/large in clothing. I can put this loosely around my 39 week pregnant belly!! I am 5'8 1/2", before pregnant wore a size 12, and have gained 27 pounds so far, weighing 185 right now. I normally wouldn't put all this personal info in, but I thought it might help someone else gauge what size to get.

Otherwise, the belt looks as if it will be comfortable and thin enough to wear under clothing undetected. And I think I saw someone say you couldn't return an item like this but I just called customer service and was assured I could return it for another size, I'll repost if I have any problems with that.

Okay I know this belt worked. With my first baby It took me months to get my stomach back down to not look like I was in my second trimester after I had my baby. I put this belt on immediately after I delivered my 2nd baby in the hospital and my stomach went back down in days. I've already started telling all my girlfriends about this and the next time I'm invited to a baby shower, I'm giving it as a gift.

I bought this in preparation for the birth of my baby. Expecting a vaginal birth, I bought this in order to "shrink" my tummy down to pre pregnancy size.

Well, I ended up with an emergency c-section and let me tell you, this girdle is a life saver! It helped with supporting the incision site and reduced the pain drastically the moment I put it on. I also developed a cold shortly after my c section and coughing was so so painful until I put this girdle on. I swear, this thing is heaven sent because it helped in so many ways unexpectedly. I bought it for vanity purposes and it turned into a medical necessity.

I am 9 months pregnant now, and the large completely wraps around me one and a half times. I would consider myself big boned, and pre-pregnancy wore a general large, I'm 5'8 and ahem, packed about 50 pounds on this pregnancy, which puts me in the 200 lbs range. (yay, go me) I would generally not divulge this kind of information but this does seem like a good product - well enough I just ordered the medium. On the down side, there isn't a clear way on how to return the large...looks like I'm stuck with it, it does look as though I could have it taken in for a more custom fit. Seriously - just go a size smaller!

This has worked great for me after my 3rd pregnancy. I tried a different brand after my 2nd child, which kept riding up everytime i bent down.. it never stayed in place so I didn't wear it long enough for it to make any difference. This one does stay in place. The sizing is quite large, I ordered medium... I should have ordered a small, but the sizing guide would not pull up on the computer, so I guessed. If you are a size 5 or 7 normally, then for sure get the small. For those other customers who also ordered one too large..... the velcro will stick to the material which is passed the fuzzy velcro material it is supposed to stick to. so I just pull mine really tight and it sticks to the material it is not supposed to. My only complaint is that it gets permanent creases in it after wearing it for a few days.... may be that is the reason another brand has the opaque lines around it, so it creases at the opaque parts..... however I would much rather deal with the creases than having the belt keep slipping. This has definatley made my tummy a lot flatter, even after a few days I was amazed at how flat my stomach was beginning to look. I would recommend ordering one.

The product quality is excellent. If you have sensitive skin you may want to pass. If you have a large butt. It will ride up because it is not cut for that. Does offer you strong support for your back and organs. Glad I got it.

I purchased the correct size (my waist was a 32" about 3 weeks postpartum) but the product barely fit around me. It seems from other reviews that the bigger sizes run much to big, and I found the small size runs much to small. Eventually, as my stomach began to shrink on its own- without wearing the wrap, I was able to fit it around me. Problem is, it never stayed in place and bunched EVERYWHERE so that it looked extremely bulky under clothes.

Don't waste your money on this product. For only $55 on [...] you can buy the Flats Belly Wrap. They have 6 or 7 different size options and it's a true girdle, not a girdle belt. It works wonders and is much more comfortable!

I was given a belt similar to this in the hospital after my c-section. I loved it. It really helped when my muscles were to weak to pull me up. It provided some back support and was comfortable. I wore it for three weeks after I had my twins. I wish I would have worn it longer! It really did hold my belly in great. When my back is aching, I still strap it on.
