Terrible edition,

This review is from: Undine (Paperback)
This book is awfully edited. One who sees the name "Arthur Rackham" on the cover is certainly motivated to buy the book for the illustrations. After looking up for images in the internet, one sees that Rackham's illustrations are mostly watercolors. Well, it happens that the illustrations in the book are in black and white, and with very low resolution. They could not be worse! It i really disappointing, even more so considering the editor's description.
But this is not all: the text font is not decent, and it is all aliased; it seems as though it is degenerated, causing discomfort to read due to its very low quality. I have spent US$27 + international S&H, which means it has cost me a lot, because this book is certainly not worth more than five dollars. This is the worst purchase I have ever made in my life, and I feel deceived by the editor. This work could not be less professional. |
