This is a great cd. They did a great job covering REK's Songs! I love the cody, jason and reckless. I believe Lynville Train is Wade Bowen, correct me if i am wrong. GREAT JOB GUYS!

This tribute CD is unbelievably good! Each artist included performs one of Robert Earl Keen's songs. We loved hearing each. This is a MUST purchase for all REK fans.

Great album and a must for REK fans. I've been a REK fan for years, even dragging my wife to see him every time he comes up to New England, and I normally hate song covers so I was skeptical when I bought this. I was pleasently suprised when I listened to it the first time and have started listening to the different artists music as a result of this CD. Bonnie Bishop does an amazing job with Not a Drop of Rain, Jason Boland is great on Mariano and Wade Bowen's rendition of Lynville Train is very cool. Check out The Front Porch Song for a good laugh.

Robert Earle Keen at his best can make you laugh, cry and think - sometimes all at once. He is truly a master American songwriter. Listening to people who honestly respect and love his music is a treat both to the audience and (so it seems) Keen himself - who does hop in and contribute to the album.I love it live and this album is - if you don't, it's a shame. There's an integrity to it studio music lacks.

Hearing all these great covers of Robert Earl Keen's songs is an experience. Each artist brings out different aspects of the songs and shines a different light on just how good a songwriter Mr. Keen really is - the best. Tons of great artists here too, and they are not just going through the motions for a tribute - this is good stuff.
