I Love Renee Alexis books. Her characters are usually well thought out and well defined. The interactions between them have been intelligent and the connections Hot Hot Hot. I Love Renee Alexis books. Her characters are usually well thought out and well defined. The interactions between them have been intelligent and the connections Hot Hot Hot. I found this book to be too busy. There were too many characters, too many storylines and too many sudden changes in the story which caused the flow of the story to seem disjointed. The issues of the main characters where so overwhelming and immature that I really couldn't get invested in them. It read more like an outline or draft than her usual offerings. The issues with the ex-wife were ridiculous and the attraction/attatchment between Suzanah and Alexander seemed sudden, baseless and forced. I liked Charlie and even though Kim wasn't really a part of the story, their relationship made them multidementional. This book would have been better as a series because the dynamic between Alex, Charlie, and Kate would have been ineresting had it been delved out. The subsequent story adding Suzanah and her story could have been been the sequel. I look forward to the next Renee Alexis book. She is an excelent writer.

After an abusive marriage, Suzanah Denard decides to pick up the pieces and begin life anew in Springfield, Massachusetts. With her ex-husband tucked safely away in jail, getting as far away from him as she can is all Suzanah could think about. That is until she meets one of Springfield's finest attorneys, Alexander O'Neal. Alex, never having lost a case, has a hard time winning Suzanah's love. Suzanah's hiding something from him and he'll stop at nothing to find out the truth.

In her fourth novel, Renee Alexis has bestowed readers with a wonderful story of the struggles couples face while falling in love. The mayhem surrounding Suzanah and Alex is shocking to say the least. Chapter after chapter, readers will become immersed in the pages of this novel. With a well-written plot and engaging storyline UNDYING LOVE is sure to please.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read, March 4, 2008
This review is from: Undying Love (Indigo) (Paperback)
I thought the characters were well drawn with a good amount of conflict. Suzanah was scared of love due to emotional heartbreak from other relationships; the same for Alexander who has had to flee from a possessive wife. The two are scared of love but can't seem to stay away from one another. Their emotional battles, over time, make them stronger and more willing to fall in love. Very enjoyable. The author did a good job.
