this is one of the best CD's I've ever come across, the songs themselves are rich and strong but the voices are exceptional! it was an amazing experience listening to this cd the first time and it doesn't weary (I know, I've hardly stopped listening to it for the last month) I'm very impressed and I Highly recommend Hart Rouge and their CD's to absoloutely everybody!

I HAVE 2 OTHER ALBUMS BY THIS FABULOUS GROUP, SO I WENT LOOKING FOR MORE. THIS WAS THE ONLY OTHER ONE I FOUND ON AMAZON. I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO LEARN THAT ALL THE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM, EXCEPT FOR ONE, HAD BEEN RELEASED ON ONE OR THE OTHER OF THE TWO PREVIOUSLY RELEASED ALBUMS. EVEN THE ARRANGEMENTS WERE UNCHANGED, SO FAR AS I COULD TELL. THIS ALBUM WAS RELEASED IN 1999, ACCORDING TO THE DESCRIPTION; THE OTHER TWO IN 1997 AND 1998, RESPECTIVELY. IF THERE ARE ANY NEWER RELEASES FROM THIS EXRAORDINARY GROUP, WITH NEW SONGS, I'D BUY THEM WITHOUT HESITATION; BUT IF YOU HAVE NOUVELLE FRANCE AND BEAUPRE'S HOMME, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON UNE HISTOIRE DE FAMILLE. IF YOU HAVE NEITHER OF THE FIRST TWO, THEN UNE HISTOIRE IS A WORTHWHILE SELECTION OF SONGS FROM BOTH.
