From the Back Cover
Unexpected Grace brings storytelling to science with compelling narratives about the investigators and participants in four studies, all of which have social and spiritual significance. Together these tales form a true short story collection set at the crossroads of faith and science.
Bill Kramer reveals the human face of scientific investigation by asking: Who are these researchers? Who are the participants in the studies? How do the studies impact all of their lives? And what lessons of faith, compassion, and altruism can we learn from these people to help us begin to solve the pressing social dilemmas that we face as a nation?
In this collection, theologians, scientists, and participants alike reveal startling personal details that illustrate love in its various theological and scientific aspects.
