The Unexpected Guest is the life-story of a remarkable woman who not only learned to work through difficult life circumstances, but made life sweeter because of them. In addition, she managed to write about these difficulties in a way which inspires the reader, and leaves the reader feeling positive about life.

This book gives a good account of religious events that reminded me of religious revivals I attended
during my teenage years. I don't remember slowing down to analyze what I was reading. It's compelling, seems like the author needed to clear her heart and soul. I recommend this book. It helped me differentiate between faith, religion, and God.
