5.0 out of 5 stars Can Willow Change Kane?
Ms Mallery has created a wonderful love for the middle Nelson sister, Willow. Willow isn't interested in her grandmother's million dollars for wedding Todd Aston the 3rd but she does want to give "that slimy, no-good weasel" a piece of her mind for his treatment of her sister Julie who is going to marry Todd's cousin Ryan. All is well now but Willow is still upset about...

3.0 out of 5 stars Unexpectedly Charming
More charming than I expected. It had a shaky start, with the charming ditzy heroine appearing slightly manic and insane, but she calmed down and the hero warmed up and a very pleasant 2 hours passed. Forgetable but fun while you're reading it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can Willow Change Kane?, December 6, 2006
This review is from: The Unexpected Millionaire (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
All is well now but Willow is still upset about it.

Willow's at the wrong house and has a little run-in with the head of Todd's security, Kane Dennison. Willow runs out in the garden and falls so Kane carries her back in the house. Kane's not ready for Willow's kind and happy ways but she's ready to take care of Kane.

Willow has always found the men that need to be rescued but they didn't treat her well afterward either. So she's not sure what to do with Kane he warns her that he doesn't need to be rescue and he doesn't need anyone else either. She disregards him and makes herself at home with him. The passion was so good between them too Kane is overwhelmed by his feelings. Such a wounded hero!

The 2nd of The Million Dollar Catch heroes is so wounded you have to fall in love with him and our heroine is so fun she goes right under Kane's radar, he falls in love with her too! Great books - 11/06 THE SUBSTITUE MILLIONAIRE SD#1760 Julie & Ryan's books, this one and in 1/07 THE ULTIMATE MILLIONAIRE Todd and Marina's story I can hardly wait for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced fun read, May 6, 2007
This review is from: The Unexpected Millionaire (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book finally made it to the top of my TBR pile and I'm glad that it did! I've always enjoy reading Susan Mallery and this book was no exception. A fast paced, page turner with an unconventional heroine....who could ask for more? I highly recommend this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great great great!, January 22, 2012
This review is from: The Unexpected Millionaire (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
I can't say how much I loved this book! Sweet romance, wonderful characters and laugh-out-loud-moments. I enjoyed every moment of this enchanting love story.

P.S. It's part of a series, but you can read it stand alone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sun Fun!, October 6, 2011
Willow gets angrier and angrier every time she thinks about how the interfering Todd almost ruined her sister's relationship. Who does he think he is? He may be rich but that does not give him the right to interfere in other people's lives! She'll just stop by his mansion and let him know what an arrogant fool he is!

Kane can't believe that the little pixie got past him! He's head of security and recently retired from special ops - how did she manage that? Ugh! Boy does he want her though... If only she want the home and family type. Kane doesn't do that type. He's more the love them and leave them type.

Can Willow make Kane the home and family type or will she just be loved and left alone, again?

2.0 out of 5 stars the million dollar sprain, April 1, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Unexpected Millionaire (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
ok the opening of the book is kinda dumb, what with willow running through the house and all. but when her and her sisters invade kane's house...that was a hoot. poor willow has always had fixer-upper men in her life and it looked like kane was more of the same. turns out he is, but not in the same way has her previous men and good thing too. good quick read. as with the other millionare series, read them for enjoyment, and put them in your give away pile for one of your friends to enjoy also.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Read, May 20, 2007
This review is from: The Unexpected Millionaire (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
I enjoyed reading this book it was quick and the characters were very likeable. I loved the way the hero supported the heroine against her father's insensitive comments and behavior.

I also enjoyed reading the other two books in this serious, in order:

1. The Substitute Millionaire
2. The Unexpected Millionaire
3. The Ultimate Millionaire

The third was my favorite, but the first two were great as well.
