This book, The Unexpected The Unexplained: Vampires, is another spine-tingling adventure from new author Kristie Lynn Higgins. The characters in this book, especially Lily, invite you to get involved with them. They are real three dimensional people with real emotions, and they call forth a definite emotional response. In spite of these facts this is also not a book you want to read late at night when you are by yourself. Miss Higgins has created another must-read for the horror fanatic. Her twists and turns will keep you guessing until the end.

Great beginning to a series. This book holds its own. I laughed my head off in some parts. I'd call this a cross between Buffy and the X-Files. It had its dark moments and its light. Great charaters. I've never read a story, besides Star Trek, that had a Klingon as one of its characters. Can't wait for the next one. Love it! Let's ash some vamps!

Unexplained, Unexpected is awesome! The characters are quirky and relatable, they are so funny. A paranoid man named Dr. Doubt, a Star Trek fanatic, and a woman with a hidden past make up just part of the team in this amazingly funny and creepy story. A must read!
