5.0 out of 5 stars Great Song
reminds me of Everytime and is very similar to it, its definately out there but people like it, and this song has alot of emotion and
the piano and everything about it gets to me, GREAT TRACK, the remix adds another edge to it and the intrumental proves to you that the emotion isn't only in her voice!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Faithfully But Dissapointed!!
A simple CD-single which contained the original version, an instrumental version plus the remix / mix version of the original format. The song itself contained a mediocre/average lyrics though interestly it has a little twist on a very sober instrumental you would enjoy or as I did, dislike all alone on the Instrumental version.

The Tony Moran Edit is way too weak and I'm not surprisedat all the song is as weak that I can dance too. The depressing lyrics isn't very joyful at all. The video has nice look and it'd be enjoyable but I got tired of it on the overplay for channels such as MTV or BET. Now the single is nice, I got it cuz I had the S.O.S. one and really enjoyed. This one is far beyond and still demostrate that Rihanna has a lot to evolved as an artist or as a truly performer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Get Faithfully Away, July 25, 2006
There have been some really bad songs that were recorded within the past year, alongside the good ones like James Blunt's You're Beautiful. Arguably, for Rihanna, she has been one of those who unfortunately recorded a sappy, bad song. Unfaithful, the second single from her spohmore record, A Girl Like Me, really misses out on being a heartfelt ballad within the lyrics. The lyrics, I see him die a little each time, and the end to the chorus, I don't want to be a murderer, make it seem more like pleading rather than something with real heart. Rihanna hasn't really captured her voice to everybody like she did with Pon De Replay. She really needs to find it all over again, and I really hope she doesn't make a bad song like this ever again.

1.0 out of 5 stars A really bad ballad, September 13, 2006

I really liked her Ponce de Replay song when I first heard it. It sounded so fresh and catchy, a song that begged for you to hit the dancefloor. It was such a fun summer song, vocally and delivery wise.

That's why I was really taken aback when I heard "Unfaithful" on the radio. I was like, why would any producer let anyone record a single w/ a delivery performance like that? It was like she was just going through the motion. And ballads really reveal weaknesses in her voice and how her style is not quite mature just yet. She also just doesn't have the power to belt out a power ballad like that. She should have passed it on to Mariah or Christina or Clarkson.

It's fair to say that it was a wrong song choice for her.

Again, not sure why it was a hit.

This song is just a bunch of whining. Waaaaa! Waaaaa! Waaaaaa! Oh, the screeching! You hear no emotion or maturity in this song. Just the typical emotional drama. I give props to the person who suggested to Rihanna to get bangs. She *really* needed those.

Rihanna is a very talented girl. When she is on the radio, you /know/ it's Rihanna. She has that voice that just.....is different. Like Sean Paul. I like people who are different. I really like this song.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not really That Bad... A Sad Song Though..., August 10, 2006

Yeah I heard that her voice sounds rather like a school girl crying. But I don't think this single is all that bad. I mean, sure she really doesn't have the voice to belt out songs such as these. But if listen to the meaning, than this songs
wins the category. In fact, besides last years "We Belong Together" and before that "My Immortal" of such songs. Well this song would fit into their category just right. And I thank Rihanna for singing such a song because instead of just expressing herself on fast paced butt shaking music. Well she now can express what she felt on a simple ballad, and it really does slow down the pace. This song is really simple. A Good effort and very sad when you listen carefully to this song. Also listen to A Final Good-bye as well on the album. Very Nice. Over all it scores a minus B for me. Well done. Happy Listening people!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and Dense, July 27, 2006

Rihanna is supposed to be the next big thing in pop music culture and her latest single "Unfaithful" shows why. I was repelled by her earlier track but this song has made me go all gaga over her. This song invokes a very tragic note and in this sparking of pathos lies the sweetness. "Unfaithful" is intrinsically dense and its intensity and rhythm complementing the tautness of the lyrics have instant marvellous effect on the listener. A fantastic song.
