The Unflappable Miss Fairchild,
By
This review is from: The Unflappable Miss Fairchild (Kindle Edition)
After three London seasons, Miss Anne Fairchild accidentally walks into the library where the infamously wild Mr. Charles Prestwick has an assignation with Miss Elizabeth Scanton. He is immediately charmed by Anne but she realizes no introduction will be neccesary since they move in different social circles. They end up meeting in unlikely locations and she knows her Aunt Agatha will disapprove of the handsome Mr. Prestwick as a suitor.
Dialogue was entertaining and witty at times. They both struggle with their feelings for each other specially when many of Mr. Prestwick's acquaintances believe she is his new mistress. Miss Scanton's jealously also interfers in their relationship, giving the main characters real depth. Clean romance with only kisses in this book.

A Most Enjoyable Read,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Unflappable Miss Fairchild (Zebra Regency Romance) (Paperback)
A likeable couple you can really care about and root for, an interesting plot, and skillful writing. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Doesn't read like a "debut novel" at all! Refreshing, entertaining, and lots of fun.
