The book has many good pictures, and enough text to explain the photos.It makes for A fascinating armchair read. The book is less beneficial as a practical guide, since many of the destinations are hard to get to for the average traveler....

Good Starting Point,

I enjoyed reading through this book, especially for the beautiful pictures. As I'm hoping to visit Canada for vacation this year, it was a good starting point. I took notes as I read for places to look up and Google. It's not a definitive travel guide, but neither is it advertised as one.The last 25 places did seem a little odd. I think maybe they ran out of "wow" places and just went with some "hmm" touristy spots. |
