From the Author

This book is one half "english" and one half "spanish" Mexico's immense unfounded treasures begin with the hidden Mayan and Aztec treasures. Next came the 1810 to 1821 revolutionary period wherein father Miguel Hidalgo gathered the Indians, peons, the enslaved and the Mexicans to revolt against Spain's rule, an eleven year period where the Mexicans won their independence from Spain. During these eleven years of fighting, Spain was forced to recall its soldiers from the northerly areas where they had protected many hundreds of mines, communities and missions. Thousands of treasures, both large and small, as well as mines, were hidden by miners, mine owners, families, soldiers and missions with the intention of returning one day to recover what they had hidden - but they never returned because Spain lost and Mexico became independent. Then between 1821 and 1847 Mexico had many, many revolutions and over 20 different presidents and governments. In 1848 Mexico lost its northernmost lands to the united states. There was just too much constant turmoil to allow an organized and concentrated effort to find these lost . Treasures and hidden mines. By far the majority are still today exactly where they were hidden and/or buried many years ago-UNFOUND.

Keep in mind that Spain as well as Mexico either controlled or claimed ownership of much of the united states years ago. Many ranches in the U.S. as well as Mexico still have treasures hidden in corrals, water wells, barbeques, under old fireplaces, etc. , As shown, and used even today-known as "private banks". Even pirates had special carved boulders that could be seen from the ocean, they are called "shelter rocks". The spanish began using these inland to hide/cover treasures as well as mine shafts. In 1938 an estimated 11 million dollars of treasure was unearthed under one of these "shelter rocks"at a coastal point just north of Miami. Another in 1993 was rolled over in Arizona to expose a 12 foot shaft leading to a room with many gold bars.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Waste of Money, August 7, 2008

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Unfound Treasures of Mexico (Paperback)
This book was a total waste of money for the price. The information is useless on a practical level. There is no information concerning "real" lost treasures. The only one earning treasure from the book is the author. If this book sold for $8.95 I MIGHT not feel so ripped off. The price is absolutely exorbitant!

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Duplicate Info From His Other Book, July 23, 2002
This review is from: Unfound Treasures of Mexico (Paperback)
If you live in - or - can legaly dig and recover in Mexico this would be a great book to have. I found that this volume has repeated much of the same info 'nuggets' as his: TREASURE Signs, Symbols, Shadow & Sun Signs. (Better Chioce if using it in the USA) BUT it does include some info that may help here too - such as what to LOOK for while out and about. ...
Loved his TREASURE Signs, Symbols, Shadow & Sun Signs.
Great Job!
