EXCITING CONCLUSION TO THE RIPPLE TRILOGY
Against all expectations, Samantha Ruiz has survived attacks by two of Helmann's deadliest assassins. She's alive, but she's far from safe. Helmann is planning a second Holocaust and wants Sam to play a starring role. Will, meanwhile, separated from Sam by an ocean, seeks a way to prevent Helmann's apocalypse. Along with Sir Walter and Mickie, Will plays a deadly game sneaking into Geneses' facilities, discovering unsettling clues as to Helmann's plans. The clock ticks down as Will and Sam discover just how much they must be willing to sacrifice to stop Helmann. UNFURL, the powerful conclusion to The Ripple Series, will leave fans breathless.

Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

WILL-It was her shoulders I missed the most. Brown in the sun, arms pumping hard. And I'd see those bones--shoulder blades--and they'd look like tiny wing buds. Nested, waiting to unfurl. Man, I missed her.

SAM-I pulled my sweater tighter and tried to find the constellations while the countdown to the new year began. Ten, nine--was that Cassiopeia? Eight, seven, six--that one had to be Orion. Five, four, three--could Will see Orion in France, or were the stars different there? Two, one. I miss you, Will.

About the Author

Hey Book Lovers! My name is Cidney and I'm a full time writer of young adult science fiction and fantasy novels. (That is, when I can persuade my cat to move off the keyboard.) I'm easily distracted by shiny things such as new book covers, direct sunlight, and Mars set against an inky night sky. My summer so far has included learning to milk goats, baking thirteen pies for friends who wanted Wedding Pie instead of cake, and trying to tan my pasty-white Oregon skin. (That last isn't going too well.) If you'd like to visit, I hang out at cidneyswanson.com where I natter on about this and that and occasionally give away cool stuff. Stop by and we'll chat! Not sure what to chat about? Here are some convo starters:

-What would you do first if you could turn invisible?
-If you had to pick rescuing your brother OR saving your planet, who would get the shaft?
-What's the best movie you've seen this year?

I look forward to hearing from you!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic end to the trilogy! April 11, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
As a person who loves to read but does so obsessively, I spend much of my time reading amazon freebies (and low cost ebooks) which means I read a lot of stuff from newer authors. Cidney Swanson is one of the best! I love the whole Rippler series, but I especially loved the style in this one. At the end of the last book, Chameleon, I thought the next one would not be as good, with Sam and Will on different continents. Boy, was I wrong! I think this one was possibly the best! The added suspense from the chapters alternating between characters made me eager to keep reading.

Can't wait to see what Ms. Swanson writes next!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best trilogy since the Hunger Games March 5, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Story-telling at its finest! Great writing style, characters you care about, and even some historical elements thrown in for fun! I read the entire trilogy in three days, losing quite a bit of sleep. The last trilogy I read that quickly was the Hunger Games, and this was every bit as entertaining. My only complaint WAS that I thought the ending to the third book, Unfurl, was abrupt. However, after careful consideration, I realized that I just didn't want the story to end!

5.0 out of 5 stars What? It's over? February 28, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I thought this series was fantastic - there is intrigue, world domination, romance, suspense, humor! I enjoyed how the writer was able to tie everything together and not leave any loose strings. I found myself thinking of the characters when I wasn't reading... (to me, that's how I know it's a good book) The one thing I really found refreshing is the honesty from the characters! I like that there wasn't some super secret that she was keeping, that as a reader you know the character just needs to fess up and all will be well. I was sucked in by book one and was pleased by the end of book three. If you are looking for something that has a little bit of everything- this is for you!

Very satisfy end to the trilogy. Would have like the author to go into the "madness" of the scientist and his arm some more.
