Works perfect for floodlights.

As the bulb becomes secure, you can rotate it completely, retraction the suction cups and allowing disengagement.

These are the best for changing flood lights (I have used many different types)
One trick I use that will be helpful is when replacing a bulb always put just a little bit of dielectric grease on the threads of the new bulb (this keeps the bulb from getting stuck in the socket) with over 30 years of using these - I guess that makes me a pro and I hope my advise is useful to you. The one other piece of advise is that you use the Unger poles (the ones with the green plastic are the industrial (blue is residential and not made as well) The longer the pole the more careful you need to be (the poles start getting heavy and wave) The Tele pole system works really well where you can adjust the length of the pole (very useful when going more than 15 feet) the best way to handle a long pole is to run part of the pole down your body to steady it while working the height and rotation with your hands

With the use of an Unger Extension Pole, this attachment makes changing a light bulb a breeze. It simply connects onto the extension pole with spring loaded buttons. Rotating the head counter clockwise allows the suction cups to be exposed. Rotating the head clockwise allows the suction cups to be shrouded.

Simply suction the bulb and rotate counterclockwise, and then, slowly lower the extension pole down vertically, hand over hand. To install a bulb, simply attach the suction to the bulb, guide the bulb to the socket, and then twist clockwise. As the bulb becomes secure, you can rotate it completely, retraction the suction cups and allowing disengagement. To me, it works better than the string loaded suction cup that tends to tangle over time and becomes cumbersome to use.

Highly recommend for those light fixtures that are out of reach.

Two thumbs up.

After a while the suctions cups dont work as well as they should and light bulbs falling 35 feet isnt fun so change it out every so often. Works perfect for floodlights.

It worked OK; but, I gotta figure somebody could invent a better way. I hope the suggestion about using lubricant on the bulb helps for the next change. The unlubed bulb was tough.

This bulb changer, paired with the EZ250 extension pole takes all the hassle out of changing recessed light bulbs in high ceilings. So far, the hardest part is getting the suction cups to release after the new bulb is screwed in. You have to slide it sideways to the edge of the bulb.
One reviewer claims that the cups lose suction over time, but I'm nowhere near that point yet.

The description says "fits all poles" but this is designed to fit Unger poles with tension clips and not threads. The description could be more clear as now I can't attach this to my threaded pole attachment without finding some type of adapter - which I can't seem to find on Amazon. I don't know if this works or not because I can't use it.

This works great and recommend it. However, the suction is so good that the little rubber suctions breaker off the holder in order to stay on the bulb. Not a bad thing as it holds on to the bulb well. However, plan to buy a new one in about a year once all the suctions are gone.
