5.0 out of 5 stars Karen Mal's music
I bought this album after hearing Karen Mal this summer. I have grown to like her music very much. She does a real nice job on the songs "Wildwood Flower" and "I Live Not Where I Love" and "Do You Love An Apple".

3.0 out of 5 stars Carrie on Chip
It would be nice to be able to say that long awaited new solo (well almost) Chip album was a return to the masterpieces of the seventies, but unfortunately that's not quite where we are. We're all older and the cutting edge has probably gone forever, but I can still hope for another "Last Chance"
While I look forward to Carrie's solo album I couldn't help feeling...

3.0 out of 5 stars Carrie on Chip, August 21, 2006
This review is from: Unglorious Hallelujah (Audio CD)
It would be nice to be able to say that long awaited new solo (well almost) Chip album was a return to the masterpieces of the seventies, but unfortunately that's not quite where we are. We're all older and the cutting edge has probably gone forever, but I can still hope for another "Last Chance"
While I look forward to Carrie's solo album I couldn't help feeling slightly relieved when I heard that Chip was releasing a solo album, and there is undoubtedly one very good solo album among the songs in this double set. Particular favourites are "What would Townes say about that", "James Wesley Days", "Thursday Night Las Vegas Airport",and the soulful "If I stop loving you". Not at all sure about Bippity Boo I'm either going to end up hating it or loving it or maybe both.
If you're a Chip fan you will have to but it as it the best thing he's done in a long time. If you're jus discovering Chip, or got into him through the collaborations with Carrie, then go and buy "Last Chance" or "Hit Man" and if you want more (as you will) come back to this one.
