This CD brings to mind family get togethers full of love, great food, and of course, music. I feel as though I'm at a family holiday or get together and the emotions of family must be expressed, but in the old way, the way of our grandmothers and grandfathers in Italy. I am definitely going to get this one for my Auntie Dolly, who often goes about her day singing songs such as these while she goes about cooking, cleaning, or just watching a sunset. Definitely a must have!

I am so glad I got this CD. I wish my mother were alive today. This is the kind of music she loved so much and sang to us when we were young.. Love it !!

They do not make music like this anymore. This will send your heart to the time when tradition and family meant something.

Dominic Chianese's Ungrateful Heart is the far most best Italian Music Collection I have ever heard in my lifetime. When Mr. Chianese spoke of his grandfather Domenico, was heart touching that one found themselves recalling those in their own family that are spoken highly of. As well as those you know who do the same. Dominic sings from the heart and from the deep depths of his soul. The songs he sings are heartwarming, as well as felt deeply within the heart. each song a person can relate to. Especially Core 'N Grat. I am honored to have Mr. Chianese's album among my Italian Music.

I heard Dominic perform two songs from his album on Mike & The Mad Dog and ordered it that day. I knew he was a good singer having seen him perform on the Sopranos but I was really knocked out by this album. I love his version of O Sole Mio and the song from The Godfather (Parla Piu Piano) but what I really love is the song he wrote Song A Napoletano. It is the very essence of this CD. The best part is you'll be serenaded by his voice regardless of whether you understand or speak Italian. A great find!

Seeing his live performance is a must for all who are family orientated. He shows how his grandfather was so much the reason he performs and sings from the heart with love.

Bravissimo! Molto Bene....Dominic belts out smoothly the songs that lived in his heart his whole life...... As a graduate of the Indiana University School of music I am qualified to grade.... and I give him and the producers an "A" for effort and content. As for his singing...... he's an Actor who sings, although be it very confidently!!

A great CD - buy it for Dad, Mom or a good friend. Dominic sings from the heart and the music resonates in the soul!

Dominic has the voice and soul of an angel. This is a wonderful listening experience and I think that this CD is the "Surprise" of the year in music thus far. CDs like Dominic Chianese's are rare gems that we have to share...I encourage everyone to listen to his music and buy this CD. This is not about Italian songs only - these are songs which are steeped in family, tradition and country. I love it!

this c.d. is spectacular...the memories it evoked for me were monumental...I appreciate the clean, yet simple arrangements which complimented Mr. Chianese'voice. I believe everyone of Italian heritage needs to send this to there uncles, dads, and grandfathers...what wonderful renditions of songs we have heard all our lives...Que bella!!
