Enjoy happy hour with the Beat Angels, June 18, 2005
This review is from: Unhappy Hour (Audio CD)
I've had this CD for years. The Beat Angels show that you don't have to be depressed, suicidal, and in therapy to make great rock music.
This is a great glam rock CD. It's a very refreshing change of pace from the grunge, nu-metal, thrash music that is to prevalent nowadays.
Imagine if Blink-182 or Sum 41 made a glam rock record. Unhappy Hour has that same upbeat rock sound that Blink-182 and Sum 41 have but with a twist of '80s glam.
I miss this type of music. If Nirvana didn't come along, the Beat Angels would've definitely charted into alot of living rooms.

By A Customer
This review is from: Unhappy Hour (Audio CD)
I have seen the band perform live and they are so full of energy!! They are sort of a glam punk type band...The songs are very simple on the CD but really grow on you.....I find myself singing them to myself at times..Lots of hooks with a slight punk edge...Im going to buy red badge of discorage also(there second CD)...I heard it at the record store its sounds great also.....Fun CD....buy it!!!
