I don't get around to reviewing much, so it's pretty funny that I've chosen to log on to review a certain kind of pen. Like everybody else who's commented, I like pens, and I like my pens JUST SO. The Precise V5 had always been a standby, and I got really excited about the V5 retractables until I realized they a) didn't have QUITE so deep of a black tone to the ink, and b) had a tendency to put ink spots on my trousers through the pockets.

When my wife brought home a couple of these Precise Visions from the office, though, I fell in love. The ink comes out a deep, true black without ever coming out blotchy like the V5s tend to do. On top of the smooth stroke, it's got a quality soft grip, something that always bugged me about the hard, plastic-y V5s.

I used them until they ran dry, and then, instead of throwing them away, I held onto them so I could find them again. I actually went to MULTIPLE STORES, carrying around a dead pen in my pocket to compare against everything in their stock, but couldn't find it at any of the office places I expected to (instead I gave the new sharpie pens a try, but was disappointed - the felt tip just isn't my thing, and the black just isn't...true. I expected more from sharpie).

Yes, I felt a little ridiculous for being so into this pen. But I accept my quirks - and here I am, having hunted down these pens online. As I write, they're selling for such a low price I ordered two dozen, but even at full retail I would consider these worth the price - and, like the other reviewer, I consider myself a very moderate spender (some might say "cheap" - but I know quality).

Yes, the previous reviews all align with my own comments. I tend to be someone who is a bit particular... but when I find what I like, I'm loyal to the end. And so it is with this model of pen. I have tried many types of pens in hopes of finding a model that is less expensive and more widely available in local stores. Alas, nothing compares to the Vision Exact Micro. And so here I am, paying $25 for PENS! I'm a fairly moderate spender, so that says a lot - $25 for PENS, and they're truly WORTH IT! :)

This pen is quite possibly the best on the market today when it comes to doing line art work. If I had to choose between buying a Sigma Micron set of 5 pens for 20 bucks and the Uniball Vision Exact Roller Pen pack of 12...I'd take the Uni-ball Vision Exact set. The quality of the black ink on paper gliding through the lines is incredible. It's impressive the ink dries so quickly because when I do my sketches..I usually start with graphite mechanical pencil and then overlay the construction lines with the Uni-ball Vision Exact. The rubber grip helps tremendously allowing subtle movements without slipping. I wouldn't be surprised to learn if professional comic book artists are using the Uni-ball Vision Exact pens for their inking jobs because I frankly can't think of any other pen that offers this quality at affordable prices. The only drawback is this Uni-ball line is extremely hard to find in retail outlets. You'd be extremely lucky if you can get this in a local store because the most likely avenue available to get this pen is via online order.
