Package is very heavy. Great if you use Amazon Prime. UPS left it by my garage rather than the front door. I just unpacked it there and took parts up to my deck where I assembled it.

It is easy to assemble if you can look at pictures & figure it out for yourself.

It seems to work fine now that I have done some research as the instructions DON"T tell you how to operate it. I got this from a review of a similar product( I think Blue Rhino, Uniflame & all others like this come from the same sweatshop in China):

To get the gas to come on and light up, you need to:
1. Turn the gas on, of course.
2. Then push in the flame control knob and turn it to the Low position (indicated by a lightning symbol for the pilot).
3. Keep the knob pushed in.
4. Push the pilot-ignition button for a few seconds (2-3 seconds or more) until the pilot lights up (pilot is in the little compartment on top next to where the flame should come out)
5. Once the pilot is burning, let go of the knob and turn it up slowly (turn to the left) and You Got Flame.

Other than that, the flame control knob was missing and the door magnet holder was busted.

I've had this for a couple of weeks now and love it. Assembly took me about 15 minutes (single woman) total. One of the easiest assemblies I've had - all you need is a screwdriver. I did get my daughter to help move it out on the patio. It's not heavy, just awkward to carry by yourself if you're small. The door panel was dinged in a couple of places at the very bottom and I was initially going to have them replace it, but once it's hung, I can't even see it. I did replace the lava rocks with a 10lb bag of 1/4" azure reflective fire glass. I shopped around for fire glass and Amazon definitely has the cheapest prices. The instructions for the fire pit said I needed 14.5 lbs of glass, but 10 covers it just fine. Ok, now for lighting this thing...there are very detailed instructions included on both the manual and on the back of the front door of the fire pit. It just wouldn't light for me using these instructions, so I called the customer service number on the manual and they walked me through a different process. They were super helpful and I had zero hold time on the phone. I only had to go through this "priming" process once and the fire pit has lit easily with no problems since. One thing to note is that you don't open the propane tank very much at all when you use it. I didn't give this 5 stars because the top of the fire pit came with scuff marks from shipping and I had to buy a steel polisher to buff them out myself. It just didn't make sense to return the whole thing and it worked fine for me and looks great now. The fire pit puts out a decent amount of heat but you have to be sitting pretty close to it. I really like the edge around the pit to put plates, cups, prop your feet, etc. I've had a ton of compliments already and the patio is now our favorite hangout spot. I would definitely recommend this fire pit. It's at the low end price-point for fire pits but it doesn't look like it and it works great for chilly Colorado evenings.

Works great. Instant fire and it makes for quick s'mores. Puts out a lot more heat than I expected. I also love that it hides the propane tank.

it works well, but the paint finish is faded already and it's only 2 months old. i didn't bother to use the lava rocks, but instead got fireglass which looks awesome! since the paint is fading, i will repaint it and it will look fine but i feel like i shouldn't have to do that so soon! still cheaper than the other propane models! :)

Arrived with the top damaged; thought I would keep anyway, since I did not discover this until I had spent 1.5 hours putting it together. Placed it outside where it became wet, and immediately rusted. Still thinking I could probably paint over the rust, only to find outl the burner didn't even light. Tried multiple propane tanks, still nothing. Contacted manufacturer, to get the part replaced, and was told to return it. I will for a refund.

I bought the product as a gift. So far I think it is working out fine. I did complain a bit about the late delivery by the dealer, Tool King. They, without being asked, refunded my shipping charges. That was more than I expected. Good customer service.
