Product Description
Before choosing a fireplace screen, confirm it is the correct size for your fireplace. When measuring your fireplace, add approximately 10 - 12 inches to the actual width of your fireplace opening for a folding fireplace screen. This will allow for enough fold in the fire place screen and will prevent it from tipping over. Folding fireplace screens should be at least 3-5 inches taller than the actual fireplace opening. For flat fireplace screens, the desired overlap is about 1". While these measurements are not necessarily critical, they are recommended. Most of all, choose the style you like the best!

This screen is SO beautiful. It is very well made and heavy which is a good thing as it won't fall over easily. The price is amazing and I am so happy I found this, especially in the hard to find copper. It looks like a wonderful hand made antique! I only wish I had a 2nd fireplace so I would have a good reason to get another one!
