It is not bad at all but is not what I should spect from her, her past productions were better.

Alejandra Guzman's Unico Is One Of Her Best CDs To Date....
Best tracks are - No voy a esperar, Mentira piadosas, rezo, Amor en suspenso (Crocodile tears), Unico (Il mio amore unico), & No importa la hora...The Cd is great ...Get it, you will not regreat it.Unico

This album called "unico" is strongly recommended. The songs are somewhat different to what alejandra Guzman is accustomed to recording. She said, a British sound, but to me it sounds more like Mexican rock of early 90 like Maldita Vecindad, La Lupita, etc. ..
In general, it has very good sound, the lyrics are fairly mature, the arrangements might be better, the voice of Alexandra is the same from the last three albums.

these are the songs that I liked:

MENTIRAS PIADOSAS -the lyric of the song is quite sad and desesperada.This song is as the second part of "Soy solo un secreto" .the same scheme.
single is a song translated into Spanish, by Alejandra Guzman. is one of the best songs on the album

REZO.- is quite catchy, but I really don't like Alejandra's voice in this song is quite nasal. The fans will agree when Alejandra sings the song "Algo Natural" live. She sound like "The Nanny".

NO IMPORTA LA HORA.-very nice ballad.

AHOGADA EN TU TRISTEZA.-another great ballad,This song is very melancholic.

In general is a good album,Fans won't be disappointed.but I skip "ELLA",More songs to her daughter.. ummmmmmmmmmHHHHH tired of....

And I love the new look of Alejandra,She looks more feminine..

Alejandra Guzman's latest CD Unico is a lot different than her last CD Fuerza, which was one of her finest.
Although Unico lacks much of the hard driving rock that made Fuerza rule, El Guzman's new CD rapidly grows
on you. Many of the the songs are hard to categorize and that makes for a refreshing blend of music on this
CD. The title track reminded me of a good Sean Connery James Bond theme song, while a couple others sounded
like they could have been from an Enya CD. All in all, Unico is another excellent effort by one of the best
singers of our time. I long for the day when Alejandra Guzman will record an entire CD in English.

la guzman is back!!! rezo is the best track. it should have been the first single. there is nothing this amazing force of nature of a woman can do wrong (in my book).
