This is some great rock no thanks to MTV (kill your TV) and the radio most americans are deprived of being able to hear this kind of stuff. UNIDA is a great band, Johns vocals have never sounded better and though they bare a slight resemblence to Kyuss they dont try to copy of the legendary band. I was a little depressed though when i heard Dozer i thought it was a big rip off on Kyuss, but after listening a couple more times i find myself enjoying it more and more I mean at least they do a good job of finding the right sound my favorite song of UNIDA's are all of them and i am drawn particularly to Dozer's Calamari Sidetrip. A great cd, a must buy for any REAL! fan of music.

I finally found this Kyuss spin-off and am extremly pleased!! Once the first track started and the vocals kicked in, I was smilin'. Just like the good ole days of the original Kyuss. I just ordered the "new" Unida cd and am on edge to hear it. I don't know who Dozer is, but they kick a** as well. Very good cd....it earns its 5 stars easy. BUY IT NOW!!!!

Unida almost reaches the same heights as Kyuss did. Dozer is a real outsider and I was surprised how good they are. Dozer's tracks are not as well produced as Unida's, but who cares when they make great music.

Shame Unida broke up. If you like this you will love slo-burn. My only complaint is the case was cracked.

Unida sounds awesome! John Garcia picks up right where he left off with Slo Burn. The vocals are powerful and the music has an amazing heavy groove to it. A must have for any Kyuss or stoner rock fan! I will admit that I was disappointed with Dozer. They really show no originality, but this album is worth it soley for Unida. Gotta love Delta Alba Plex (smokin')

Dozer's "Overheated" lacked any musical talent, but Unida's Red fit the bill nicely, it being my currently favorite song. I downloaded the complete "Coping with the Urban Coyote" CD by Unida and found it mostly soundworthy, though with a less than 4-star sould quality. I recommend getting "Size Queen" by Kyuss, and "Red" by Unida before you buy anything.
