Awesome scanner!
I purchased this scanner (with headset) about 1 month ago and I'm thoroughly pleased with the scanner itself; I haven't used the headset as yet as it is quite large and heavy. I've had no problem at all with the reception or clarity and the volume is good as well. I love the portability of this unit; I only wish the batteries lasted a bit longer, but...oh well. I use...

The scanner works well but don't order.
The scanner's range is minimal in some areas but it seems to work well. The headset never arrived. Don't order it from this seller.

I purchased this scanner (with headset) about 1 month ago and I'm thoroughly pleased with the scanner itself; I haven't used the headset as yet as it is quite large and heavy. I've had no problem at all with the reception or clarity and the volume is good as well. I love the portability of this unit; I only wish the batteries lasted a bit longer, but...oh well. I use the rechargeable batteries and they last about 12-15 hours of constant use. Maybe that is acceptable for rechargeables, I've never used them before now. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend this scanner to anyone looking for a good, reasonably priced, portable scanner.

My Dad Loves it!,

I bought this item for my Dad for father's day since he goes to the races as an annual event. He usually rents one of these which is very costly and this saves lots of $$$$. He said it worked great and loved it. I can't say more except that now my husband will probably want one too.
I highly recommend for any race fan out there.
