I have struggled with several brands of wireless phones. All had significant problems with noise and/or poor quality reception.

These new Uniden DECT 6.0 phones work great. No noise, consistant great audio quality and no loss of quality or volumn when more then one handset is used at a time.

I already had a set of Uniden 2000 series cordless phones. This one was purchased as an additional extension. After charging for 24 hours, the synchronization with the base unit was reasonably easy and went exactly as the instructions said it would. And I got a great price, though I haven't seen it that low since. I would definitely buy another one if the need arose.

Unlike some other pieces of junk I've bought, this Uniden line of phones is well made, feels solid, has enough features, and we hope to use it for years to come. It's easy to add this extension to other Uniden phones of the same line.

I purchased this last month. Chose the next day option and it was delivered promptly. Easy to set up, good sound quality. More numbers feature from one handset to the other is a nice feature too.

I am very satisfied with the product. However it was a little pricey, I bought the main station at almost the same price as this extra handset, guess I should have just purchased a bundle with extra handsets when I got my original phone.

I looked all over and Amazon had the best price for the accessory handset. The delivery was earlier than expected, the packing was great. The phone was easy to set up and start using. It is compact and convenient to use. Both phones have the same features which makes it simple to program and use. Would highly recommend Uniden to anyone looking for a good phone at a reasonable price. The quality of the sound is great too.

I origionally bought the Uniden phone with the answering machine for my desk in the living room. I absolutely loved it. I love how it beeps to let you know that there is a message. When I found out about the intercom, I bought three more, one for each of my daughters rooms and my kitchen. Then 1 month later I bought 2 more, one for my basement and one for my bedroom. There is no more screaming in my house now, we just use the intercom. I also love all of the other options. The only thing I do not like about the Uniden DECT 6.0 is that occasionally I hear a tinny echo sound which is annoying.

A phone that is a 6.0 is supposed to work without interference if you have DSL in the house and this one does. That is why we ordered two more handsets.

This is my fouth Uniden system. The problem I had with adding the accessory handsets was in charging first of all. Sometimes you have to take the battery out and reinsert it to get the handset to charge fully. I returned 3 handsets until they worked properly. The manual says to fully charge and then register it to the base. I disagree with this because even after 20 hours of charging, the indicator does not show "full". I was unable to copy the phonebook to #3, but I could to #4. I returned #3 but did not deregister, so the next handset became #5 instead of #3. I was able to copy the phonebook to #5, so I don't want to mess with the setup. This is the inconsistency, and don't bother calling Uniden Support. They are worthless. Their defense is that the software is "a little different" for each phone. How can that be?
