We bought this phone a little over a month ago. Everything went fine for the first couple of weeks. The quality was great. We have Voip and there were not problems. Slowly the problems starting occurring. First we could not call out. It took a couple of tries, but we lived with it. Then we could rarely call out. Now we cannot even answer calls coming in. Do not buy this phone!!

Outside noise is all I can hear when on conversations. Also, when pressing options for recording the phone doesn't pick it up. Worst phone money can buy. So incredibly frustrating.

I bought this phone because of the price and I needed my phones replaced after they were blown out in a electrical storm. While these phones do the purpose, they are not as strong. My previous phone I could walk outside and use it way out in the backyard. This phone, however, is full of static when I get outside the door. I have changed the channel soo many times to try to clear it up. I would not recommend this phone for use outside, however, if you just need a phone for the inside.. this one is ok.

We purchased this phone/answering system less than a year ago and I am ready to throw it out the window. The handsets are erratic - sometimes picking up the caller ID - sometimes not. Even when fully charged it is random as to whether the handset will work when picked up to dial a number. We have to go through the house trying the different handsets until we get lucky and find one that works. I could not be less satisfied with a product. I made the mistake of buying it in a store without researching. I will do my homework next time.

This phone worked fine for 2 months. Now it does not ring when a call is coming in and the answering machine does not work. I have been in contact with Uniden. I have waited about a half hour for help, then have to hang up and try their solutions. So far nothing has worked. I am about to give up and buy another phone.

I bought this phone because I had had a Uniden phone before and had no problems. Also, it was very reasonably priced. But we noticed right away that it did not have the range of our previous phone. We could not get more than 25 feet away from the base without getting static. If we went around a corner (inside of our house) we would lose the call. After only 2 months we decided to replace it. We ordered a Panasonic phone on-line (that got very high reviews) and are anxiously waiting on its arrival. Next time I will read the reviews before I purchase!

I just bought this phone and answering system a couple of days ago and had just set it up. In the first 55 seconds of my first call it sounded great, and then I pressed the speakerphone button and it hung up. I called back and without using the speakerphone, the call was disconnected at 55 seconds (right next to the base station). I called again and immediately transferred the call to the second handset only to be disconnected after 1 minute. I then tested the number that I called with my old phone and my cell phone and I had no problems. Needless to say I will be returning this phone and answering system ASAP.

I've never had a phone that couldn't read the called ID info before, and my disappoint when down from there with this alleged "phone". I actually bought three sets when Target had them on sale at christmas, thinking it would be nice to have interchangeable handsets. Bad assumption. They are incompatible with each other. Read the other reviews too, and don't waste your money on this phone.

Stay clear of these phones! I hardly have talked on the phone since I have purchased them. There is ALOT of interference on them..sounds like you're talking in a wind tunnel. Don't waste your money!!!! I'm sticking with Panasonic... There is a reason why these phones are so cheap!!!!!!!!
Trust me, DON'T BUY THESE!!!!!

After nine years with a V-Tech, I tried a GE phone with a cool blue backlight, but everytime there was a message, it beeped every 5 seconds. I returned it. Then tried a V-Tech, the ringer was way too loud! I tried this as a last resort. I love it! The low ringer really is low, the answering machine doesn't beep (helps when the baby is sleeping), has good sound quality, and the backlight is great at night! I highly recommend!
