Uniden's EXAI-2248 2.4 GHz cordless phone offers a much extended range and clearer signal, compared to older phones operating on lower bands, meaning that you can walk farther while you talk. Call waiting and caller ID capability allow you to identify and screen your calls and provide a history of up to 30 numbers for quick callback, accessible via the handset LCD. Plus, the One Touch RocketDial makes locating and dialing numbers a snap.
The integrated digital answering system delivers 15 minutes of clearly recorded messages, and the new message indicator lets you know when you've missed a call. Terrible Phone,

We replaced our previous Uniden phone with this one and it is terrible. The sound cuts in and out and when it goes out, you can't even hear the other person, or your own feedback in the earpiece. The reception is terrible, I can't even get a clear sound in my bedroom, 25 feet from the base. We replaced a 900MHZ that was much better than this phone. I called Uniden, and was told it wasn't their problem, but I can send it in for repair if I'd like. The phone was terrible from the day I bought it. We are now shopping for a replacement.

Bad experience with an AT&T phone led us to Uniden and we couldn't be more pleased. Great sound clarity, easy to use--and two features hardest for us to find in a phone with Caller ID, answering machine and 2.4 ghz...it was available in white and was wall mountable. Comfortable to hold/listen (on those long-winded mother calls), good battery life and clear in all rooms of the house. Caller ID info is easily readable with date, time and name of caller all displayed in one window. Would highly recommend.

We received our cordless Uniden phone a couple months ago and we absolutely LOVE IT! It's easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic. It has all the features you could want in a cordless phone. I highly recommend it!
