By utilizing the 2.4 GHz analog frequency, the EXI-3226 is able to offer clear, intelligible reception even at a distance. Users can switch between 20 different channels to get the best signal, while a display and dial feature provides quick access to numbers in the phone book and caller ID memory. A time/date stamp lets you know when each incoming call was received, while a 40 number phone directory lets you store the most frequently used phone numbers.
Handset and ringer volumes are adjustable, while an any key answer feature lets you answer the phone by pressing any button. A 32-number redial lets you easily call the last dialed number, while a call transfer feature lets you transfer calls between the base and handset.
The NiCAD battery has a 7 hour recharge time (14 days on standby), while the low-battery indicator lets you know when to return the handset to its base. The two-way intercom lets you easily communicate with others in the home or office, while a page button on the base makes finding a lost handset quick and painless.
Wall-mountable, freeing up valuable desktop space, the EXI-3226 is also headset and hearing aid compatible (a belt-clip is provided) saving your neck from the strain of cradling the phone. The EXI-3226 also comes backed with a one-year warranty on both parts and labor.

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Office Product)
This the first cordless phone we have had whose audio quality is as good as or superior to a corded phone. You can hear people clearly and distinctly even at some distance from the base unit. We have yet to experience reverberation the way you do on some cordless phones. Combine it with a headset you also get hands free mobility and don't lose anything in sound quality. The phone has two features that we especially like. First, you may pick up the phone from the base unit and start talking immediately, just as you would on a corded phone. We like that. Second, you can pick up the handset when it's not on the base and hit any key on it to start talking. You don't have to look for the line 1 or line 2 key to start your conversation. We would like it to have the feature that allows you to get immediately to a stored phone number by hitting an alpha key on your touchpad and bringing up your stored number by name. This has been a great feature on other phones. On this one, however, we get to a stored number by scrolling through the numbers in their stored locations until you get the number you want.

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Office Product)
I was looking for a moderately priced 2-line cordless with caller-id and there aren't a lot of choices...Because of the mixed reviews here, I was wary - and bought this under the Radio Shack label so I could easily return to my local store if I had any problems... BUT it's a nice phone. No problems.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Poor construction, poor sound quality and lack of essential features, such as visual indication of waiting voice mail, make this product one of the worst possible choices.
