I like the phone's simplicity and ergonomics. It's fatal flaw is the lack of range. My office is about 50ft away from the base, and I get unacceptable interference. Both plain old AT&T & GE 900 handle this distance without any problems.

This Uniden phone works great for me. I bought one for my country hobby shop and was so pleased that I bought a second one for my city home. Free of static and interference on every channel I tried. The earpiece volume control often comes in handy when it is hard to hear the other person. The phone also works well with a headset. I found all features easy to set up and use. I don't use caller ID, so can't speak for that. I am very satisfied with this phone. I also think it was a bargain for the price.

I've been 'trying' to use this phone for the past 8 months. Worked fine in the beginning, now I can't even answer my calls. I hit the TALK button, but the phone continues to ring. Spend a little more money but buy a better phone. This phone is a total waste of money.

Great phone for the price. I use it constantly with my headset and it works great. I bought the 900 MHz version over the 2.4 GHz version because I didn't want a cordless phone that "could" interfere with my 802.11b wireless network. The phone would have been even better if it had a mute button.

According to the Amazon web site and even the owners manual, the phone is supposed to be wall mountable but it it isn't. I even checked with uniden tech support. Otherwise, the phone works as advertised.

This phone is terrible. No bargain here. A LOT of static and interference. It even picked up a fax machine! We tried different channels and plugged it into two different locations in our home, and it was just as bad. I have two other Uniden phones and they are great. This phone was a dissapointment, but I guess you get what you pay for.

We've had several Uniden phones, and found them to be very robust and clear. This model is no exception - a good buy.

All around basic cordless phone with basic features. Perfect for someone needing the freedom from a cord.

I wanted a cheap portable phone to connect to my new Vonage service. The Uniden fit the bill. As a plus, the batteries are the same as my other Uniden phone.

THE UNIDEN EX1976 CORDLESS PHONE IS A GREAT PHONE. IT HAS A LOT OF FEATURES AND ALL OF THEM WORK JUST PERFECT. I OWN 3 OF THESE PHONES. A+ RATING FOR THIS PHONE.
