Specifically designed for use with the TRU9500 series phones, the Uniden TCX950 Digital Accessory Handset and Cradle extends the reach of your phone. Packed with advanced features, this system offer both English and Spanish language menu prompts that guide you through your options, and a backlit keypad that makes it easy to enter phone numbers or access features in any light setting. The phone is also headset-compatible for hands-free use and boasts a speakerphone feature. Additionally, the large, easy-to-read LCD screen on the handset displays the date, time, extension, and other data and is also compatible with caller-ID and the call-waiting display (where service applies). With 70 transferable phone book locations for phone numbers and 30-number caller ID history, it's a snap to keep track of your favorite friends and family. And the TCX950's three-party conferencing capability lets you invite another handset to join in the conversation without paying a fee for an outside service.

To maintain call security, the TCX950 utilizes 5.8 GHZ digital (FHSS) technology to guard caller privacy while providing long range and crystal clear sound. This system is also expandable up to 10 handsets, so it can truly grow with your family or home office. It also offers hold and mute features to make it easier to manage calls, and your choice of seven ringer options (four melodies and three tones) so you know who's calling before you pick up the phone. Finally, the convenient battery level indicator lets you know when it's time to charge or replace the battery, while the clock display helps keep your day on-track.

Very easy to "link" to existing base. A good extension phone for the price. No complaints. Base, etc. was purchased at Best Buy although they do not carry the extension phones.

We ordered 3 phones. All were packaged nicely, but only two worked. Still trying to get paperwork around to return third phone.

I bought 2 of these to add to the set that I had purchased at Sam's Club. Now I have 6 phones - all with just one phone jack. I love the intercom system and the phone directory.
