(Note: to activate these features, you must first subscribe through your phone company.) Because the TRU9565-2 comes with one additional handset/cradle and is also expandable up to 10 handsets, it can accommodate your growing family or home office. This system also gives you the freedom to use the handset as a speakerphone, and stores 30 names and numbers in caller ID memory for easy access. Additionally, 70 transferable phonebook locations and the three-way call conferencing option help save time and make keeping in touch easier and more pleasant. Finally, helpful bilingual English and Spanish menus guide you through set-up and operation, so you'll never have to struggle to access the information you need.
For added convenience, the headset compatible and wall mountable TRU9565-2 also includes a high contrast white backlit LCDs on the handset and base and your choice of seven ringers (four melodies and three tones) that indicate who's calling before you even pick up the phone. A clear voicemail waiting indicator alerts you immediately after someone leaves a message, and the earpiece and ringer volume control allow for quick personalization of the system. Can't find a handset? No problem. This system has a paging button that immediately locates lost handsets.

I've had this phone for a year now and I love it. The reception is perfectly clear and I have wireless internet. There is never a problem with interference even when we go to the end of our 2 acre property. I love the ability to turn off the ringers for various callers on different handsets. I work nights and the kid calls would keep me up all summer, but I don't miss the call from work or my hubby. My only gripe is there is no speed dial capability on the handsets, only the base which is not of much use.

I purchased this phone system to replace my current 10 year old AT & T system. My main reason for the purchase was due to the fact it states this system is wall mountable. Well, yes it does come with a wall bracket that fits over the phone line mounting plate. However, this phone when mounted sticks straight out from the wall about 7 inches. It is by NO means FLUSH MOUNT to the wall.
For all intent and purposes this is a sit on the counter or desk ONLY phone system. This will be the first time I've ever returned an item to Amazon. Take a pass on this Uniden phone. If your looking for a FLUSH to wall, wall mount phone system.

I am pleased with the phones. however, I was expecting answering machine and was dissapointed when I discovered it was not there.
