I have been snowboarding for 5 years now. After the first year I upgraded from click-ins to the Union Force Bindings. They've been a game changer. Going on 4 years strong with light use each winter, they've held up great and look better than the other bindings out on the slopes (I have the white ones). The straps are comfortable and the backs feel good.

Overall, they'll get you through anything the mountain hands you! I know lots of people trust Union (including me!) and their baseplates even have a lifetime warranty. Keep the straps secure during transport/storage and they'll last you a very long time!

My honest suggestion would be to buy it at a place where they have a binding fitter.

Now, I purchased mine at Ski Haus, and got them fitted a few weeks later. As many of
you have read, the toe bindings are sticky as HELL. However, Vincent, the man who fitted my boots
to my binding, bent the buckle a bit, and now the toe binding works MAGIC. Slips on and off like butter.

In terms of ride, these babies are responsive, have attitude, and are comfortable! With a ton of padding, you'll
be hitting jumps and ollies without fear or repercussion!

I rode with these bindings for about 5 days this season. Nothing broke. The straps stayed in place about 99% of the time. I only remember a few instances where the toe strap had came loose. This may have been that I didn't have them tight before i began riding. The ratchets did not have the tab that releases the locking mechanism on the rear of the ratchet like my Rome bindings do. This didn't make too much difference though since its fairly easy to get them to release once you learn how to grab the ratchet and lift it up on the back. Then the straps come right off. I only mention the minor issues with the bindings here to give a good review. I still gave the bindings a 5 star review because even with the minor issues the bindings are excellent.

Pros
* Lightweight
* Solid, well made
* Nice padding on the ankle strap

Cons
* Toe strap came loose a few times
* The ratchet doesn't have a tab to unloosen the straps. You have to kind of grab the whole ratchet and lift up on the back of it.

We bought two pairs of these bindings and the toe strap broke on both. For my pair it broke the first run. Then a plastic piece fell off on the third run. Do not buy. Not good quality
