I just love this shovel. I don't have the strength to dig well with a regular shovel due to my size (I' m under 5' 5")As a smaller person I am able to step on the step in order to push the shovel into the ground to effectively and efficiently dig holes for planting!

got it to use on the beach for bonfires or if I get stuck in the sand. works great.
