I asked my dermatologist for recommendations for shampoos for my psoriasis and super sensitive skin. He recommended both the DHS Zinc and the Shampoo. I love them both. They are pleasant scented and most importantly DO NOT irritated my scalp. I struggled for years trying to find a store bought shampoo but they are all so perfumy and make my scalp itch. So if you are thinking about trying any of the DHS products at least you know 2 of them are worth it. I ordered the conditioning rinse but I haven't gotten it yet. I will post are review when I try it.

I have Psoriasis and extremely sensitive skin. My dermatologist recommended this Zinc and the Clear shampoo. (I also tried the conditioning rinse.) They are all nice. The DHS products that I have used all seem to be very conscious of sensitivities and easily irritated skin. I have been using them for a while now and I haven't had any problems. The Zinc shampoo is especially nice when I have "bad scalp days" If my scalp is already irritated I can use the zinc and it seems to calm it. I love that.
· Bottom line: This is a nice shampoo if you have sensitive skin and easily irritated scalp issues. I totally recommend it.

I have seborrheic dermatitis and tried this for about 2 months. It doesn't work as well as a sulfur shampoo (now I make my own). I was still left with an itchy scalp. Also, this was drying to the hair. Definitely need a conditioner afterwards.

This is a great dandruff shampoo. I have been using it for over 20years, and have never found a better one. A dermatologist recommended it to me initially, and instructed me to make sure each of the two applications per wash stays on the scalp for 5 minutes. He recommended coming out of the shower and shaving with the shampoo applied. This works well.

Sounds like a flaky story, but it works!

I picked up some samples of this shampoo in my doctor's office a few weeks ago. My experience has been very positive. I love the mild scent and how it soothes my scalp. My hair has not looked this great in years. I have been getting compliments from random people about my "thick, beautiful hair." I highly recommend this product. I will be returning my previous dandruff shampoo which was drying out my hair.
I have used DHS alone, but I have also used it in combination with Jason's Biotin shampoo, which is also a great product.

I used to itch like crazy. It was very embarrassing, but then someone told me to try a zinc shampoo and it has saved my sanity.

Both my scalp and my husband's were restored to normal, non-itchy and most importantly non-flaky. I have mild psoriasis that comes and goes (and a generally sensitive scalp)...my husband has an occasionally dry scalp, possibly eczema. We've both tried different things, that never work, but the DHS Zinc shampoo has been awesome. I use it with Kerastase conditioner and I don't notice any drying effects. SOOO relieved to finally be rid of the itchy flaky mess. After years of messing around with Neutrogena T-Sal, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo, Dermarest, Frederic Fekkai Scalp Cleansing shampoo, you name it....I've finally found something that works. Ahhhhhhh.

From someone who suffers from Sebbohrea, this stuff works A TON better than Head & Shoulders! I've tried just about every other product that I could find to help ease the itching, flaking and dryness my scalp gets, and this helps quite a bit. Along with my other shampoo purchase from amazon, this is HIGHLY recommended. BTW, my dermatologist originally introduced this product to me and I have used it ever since.

This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used, I also use the DHS clear every other day!

You have to try different shampoos to clean up your dandruff. Tried this same brand with salicylic zcid, but it didn't work. This one, with zinc, does the trick.
