Sterile. Cleans; Conditions; Disinfects. For Use with Gas Perm Lens Brands Including: Boston; Menicon; Paragon CRT. Actions: Cleans - Unique-pH Multi-Purpose Solution removes dirt, protein deposits and debris from your contact lenses. No separate daily cleaner is required. Conditions - This solution adjusts to your eye's natural tear pH to enhance the wettability and comfort of rigid gas permeable contact lenses upon insertion. This formula is designed to provide a soothing effect during lens wear. Disinfects - Contains antimicrobial agents which destroy harmful microorganisms (germs) commonly found on the surfaces of lenses. Unique-pH Multi Purpose Solution may also be used as a diluent for daily protein remover for simultaneous enzymatic cleaning during conditioning.

Excellent product -- using this solution makes my contacts feel very comfortable for the time I'm wearing them. Unfortunately, this product is being discontinued due to less customers wearing the gas permeable form of contact lenses (see Alcon's website). I wish they would change their mind and keep the solution going.

Too bad this is being discontinued as it is the best thing on the market for CRT patients that wear the corrective lenses. The other recommended stuff is very goopy and this is just like using regular saline solution. I have not found anything that beats Unique PH.

This is the best RGP lens solution ever made, period. But, it's been discontinued by Alcon because RGP's share of the contact lens market has declined, and apparently Alcon can't sell the volume it needs to make money.
Please, Alcon, reconsider this decision. Charge more if you must, but please bring this back.
