This is great, and it wasn't too hard to get the cover to fit.

I am 5'7', 32 years old, mother of two, and have never had a model that actually looked like me. I could never even find one that mimicked my measurement, let alone my shape! I have an extra lumbar vertebrae, large breasts, and a full bottom. My current measurements are 39x29x44. I chose the medium sized form to fit my bust and waist, knowing that I would need to add gussets and extra padding for my bottom. This was a good choice, because even the medium was difficult to squeeze to 29" at the waist and my extra bottom inches are almost all out the back.

I did all the fitting myself, except for a little help from my husband. It took all one day. Would have been faster and easier with a skilled friend to help, but I did not want to wait. All the seams had to be reinforced with gross-grain ribbon (see pictures) because the fabric wanted to rip at the waist seams. I was able to take in bits all over, even mimicking the slight bulge at the front top of my thighs.

I am very happy with the results and am already using it to fix unfinished projects. I like long, full, pleated dresses and fitted bodices. I can finally finish fancy clothing for myself! This is the best dressmaker's model ever!

I bought the petite size and followed the instructions. Make sure you use the correct stitch length and reinforce the seams when the instructions say to. This makes the seams hold very well (or at least it seemed to work well on mine). I was then able to use gross grain ribbon (see previous review and her customer photos) on less seams. I think mine would have been fine without the ribbon on the seams, but I added it on some seams that appeared to stretch out a little as a precaution.

Because I am short and the form body seemed a little taller than me, I was worried the length from the shoulders to the chest area would be too long. It was when the form was uncovered, but once covered, everything seemed to get smashed into the right places.

This is great, and it wasn't too hard to get the cover to fit. The instructions are very clear even for a relatively beginner sewer like me. I did need an extra hand to help pin up the cover to my body once I got to the back side.

This was the only dressform I could find that could accommodate my small body. I love that it really is like a second "me."

I finally finished fitting the cover to my body. Did it on my own but if I had someone to help it would have went a lot faster. I read reviews that its hard to get the cover on the form, but I had no problem. I found that if I put the cover on and started the zipper then put the form on the side and sat on it, I was able to squish the form enough to zip it up in under a minute. Already have a dress on it and pinning the straps to see what works best.
