As someone who takes my work seriously and makes an effort to find information based on valid research, this book was not only very helpful but very interesting. Uniqueness is, for me, related tightly to issues in the workplace around diversity, separation and isolation. This book explained why.

The thing about this book is that it presents some very simple ideas and tries to make them seem complex. It is quite obvious from simply observing the world that there are people striving for uniqueness. However, that aside, the book is written in an organized way and Snyder supports his theories with ample experimental evidence.
