Comfort could be better, August 4, 2010
I was a little disappointed with the comfort of these shoes. They're not terrible, but there wasn't enough room (especially in the toe area) to make them comfortable.....although, I should point out that my feet are slightly on the wide side. I also wasn't a big fan of the material, since it feels a bit "suffocating", and from my experience, the slippers were a bit too warm to wear indoors, even in the winter! On the bright side, they're definitely good for cold weather and they feel a LOT nicer (LESS suffocating, believe it or not) if you wear thin socks with them. Overall, I just think they aren't worth the $30 (or $50 regular price) since they look pretty "mundane", and there are better options as far as comfort. For instance, I really liked the Rockport Indoor/Outdoor slippers...a great deal if you can get them on sale (I got them for $10).
Again, if you do get these slippers, I would wear a pair of thin socks along with them because they are much more comfy that way. Even if they are comfortable to you without socks, I'd still wear socks to keep them cleaner and in better shape. But my sister makes fun of me for wearing socks with slippers...to each her own I guess :)
