Editorial Reviews

Lewis Grady just won the student-body elections at Skyline High School and Vice Principal Spooner has big plans for the goof-off high school senior. Charged with the difficult challenge of bringing school spirit back to Skyline, Lewis teams up with his two oddball friends to change the school forever. And they have the perfect way to do it: a guys-only dance team called the Unitards. As Lewis and his friends scrounge up the perfect group of misfits to join the revolution, Ms. Zarolla, coach of the school's award-winning all-girl drill team, vows to bring the Unitards to an end before they embarrass her and ruin the school's reputation. As she makes plans to hijack the newly formed dance team, the Unitards make their own plans to take over the school once and for all.

This movie is something that you can really watch with your kids and not have to worry about what they might glean from it. Many of the actors in this film were actual Skyline High students and they have a comradery that carries throughout. Plus much of the films proceeds go back to the school where it was filmed and help fund the arts programs. Can't wait to get my copy!

We saw this in theaters and my 5yo boy loved it and danced in his chair through the entire movie.

A group of boys decide to form a male dance group to help generate school spirit. I don't even think that many of the kids are acting, more they're just having fun and that spirit permeates the entire movie. A bit slow at times some of the acting was kinda cheesy, That's why I didn't give it 5 stars. If you're looking a good fun movie you can sit down and watch with your family, this one is a good choice.

Saw a trailer for this a while ago, and liked the summary and premise of the movie, and since I was unable to find it anywhere online, I went ahead and bought it. I found it to be refreshing and funny at times. A bunch of guys willing to put themselves out there and not be afraid of making fools of themselves because they were having fun while others enjoyed their dance routines. Good clean family fun, but not for everyone, a bit "hokey" at times as my mother would say.

Saw the movie in the theater with my seven year old daughter and she laughed and giggled all the way through.

The story is fun, with quirky one liners like "Hello My Friends". Great make you wanna dance music too.

For me this has been the best family friendly movie of the year! Got kids? They will love it...
