The best reggae since Bob, April 7, 1999
This review is from: Unite (Audio CD)
Unite is a musical and spiritual awakening. It combines traditional roots reggae with fresh new rhythms. The title track is an anthem calling for unity... so timely when the world seems to be coming apart at the seams. "Dear Bob" is a fitting tribute to the king of reggae. I can't stop singing these songs over and over. Contributions of some great musicians and backup singers add to the tapestry. I can't recommend an album more highly.

This is a very good cd, Issaac put a lot of heart into what you hear. A great cd to listen straight through.

good, but not that good, February 1, 2000

This album is rather goofy. I really enjoy listening to it sometimes, but it's not as good as it seems. The guitar work is cheesy, the keyboards are cheesy, and singing in key seems to be somewhat of problem for old Isaac. A fun album, but definitely not the roots reggae that I dig.It has a good vibe though, and some of the musicians are really solid.
