I purchased the keyboard and put it to immediate use with a Point of sale program - Retail Ice. The keyboard is of good size and keys are easy to read and use. The touch for the keyboard is excellent. Had no problem on configuration of the scanner for built in credit card reader. I simply plugged it into the computer and it worked right out of the box.

The action on this keyboard is excellent. Very smooth and quiet. The only thing I don't like about it is that the width is a bit cramped - the cursor arrows and numeric keypad is too close to the QWERTY part, and the home/end/delete etc are too far away - above the numeric part. However, it's something you can get used to.

The card reader works fine, although it seems like you have to move the card through faster than might to get it to read.

Purcased this particular PS/2 board for a customer with older ps/2 type barcode scanner. They wanted a combined kb-card swipe, but scanner would not work with the usb version since it needed a keyboard in the circuit. I have used/sold/reccommended Cherry keyboards in the past, but hese seem very reliable as have had the usb version in use for several years in various locations without a problem and cost a lot less than the others.
