This sword is awesome. It's heavier than I expected (since I've never held a real sword) and very sharp. The only problem I have with it it's that I went goblin hunting to the woods and couldn't find any, so the sword never glow blue. So I cannot vow that the sword will work like the original. However if goblins are not your concern then by all means get this sword.

It's very sharp and NOT a toy. So I wouldn't buy this for teenagers and kids. Otherwise a GREAT addition to any LOTR fans.

This sword is pretty authentic. It was a great price considering what the cost of one was in New Zealand when I was looking at one very similar there for $800. It's made of steel so it is relatively heavy. I really like it.

I bought this sword as a gift for my fiance and it made for a wonderful addition to his LOTR's collection. I was very impressed with the sword's quality. When you pick it up it definitely has a good amount of weight to it. The scroll work on the sword's blade looked great and the painted wooden wall mount is great for displaying it. The sword was also nicely packaged and it came with a certificate of authenticity. I would definitely recommend this to any LOTR's fan, but parents should understand that this is sword is a collector's item NOT a toy.

This Sting replica is perfect. All that I wanted and more. This is my third LOTR sword from united cutlery. I also have Glamdring and Anduril along with the scabbards for all 3 swords. My only regret is that I ordered a cheaper version of sting first thinking it would be the same quality. BOY WAS I WRONG! Needless to say I sent that one back and ordered this one. Thanks United Cutlery!

I ordered this sword for my boyfriends 21st birthday. He is not only a Lord of the rings fan but an avid sword collector. He always told me he always wanted Sting to his collection. So I came on Amazon last Sunday to find one. I came across this sword on this sellers profile. I was shocked it was so cheap. Only $118 and NO tax. After reading positive reviews I decided to order it. My expectations were met and then some! After ordering it with standard shipping it arrived just 3 days later. I didn't expect it so fast! I was so worried it wouldn't get here in time for his birthday. I opened the shipping package which btw was packaged VERY well. Upon opening it the package the sword came in was beautiful. An awesome LOTR display and graphics. Opening that box I saw the certificate of authenticity. A work of art in itself featuring the English version of what is written on the one ring...very cool! And there it was...Sting. The sword is beautiful. A perfect length. An exact replica! Made of stainless steel it was much heavier than expected. I felt like I was holding a real sword. The elvish engravings,the solid wooden hilt. I felt like it was the REAL thing. I laughed and smiled with joy at this sword. Knowing my boyfriend will love and treasure this always. I got a week to go before his birthday and I simply cannot wait to give it to him! He's gonna flip! :D Thank you seller for this amazing gift to the one I love most! I was very pleased when Sting arrived at my door. It was packaged very well, but not too tightly that it was difficult to remove. The stand was easy to set up and mount to a wall, and the sword, lighter than I had expected, looks great in presentation. I didn't notice any defects in the blade or handle. Over all I have to say it is exactly what I had hoped for when I placed my order. It's also very sharp and will sting if you prick yourself with it (see what i did there?).

I would had known the size of the sword before shopping it, which was the one I already had imagined, but except this everything was ok.
