If I could give this bucket a zero I would, sorry I have to give it one! This bucket is so flimsy that I doubt it will carry anything, the top lip is already splitting. It is made in America, what a dreadful advert that is! I cannot recommend this bucket in any way, it kicked the bucket long ago and no one should buy it. Its only use will be as an example of what not to buy, so please do not buy it.

This pail is not even worth a penny. Made of flimsy plastic. The pail changes its shape when you fill it half the way. I would have given a zero rating for this if I could.

Dont believe the 5-star reviewers. Most likely they are those who make this piece of a junk. The one you get from dollar store is far better in quality than this.

I found the handle as well as the plastic to be substandard. When I arrived I filled the bucket to the water line, approx. 3 inches from the top. The entire bucket buckled and the handle was suspect whether it would come out of its holding slots.

Definitely not strong plastic and small diameter metal handle. Would not recommend to use with liquids.

I hate having to return things but this bucket has got to go back. It feels flimsy and brittle and like it would crack and split if you look at it the wrong way. The handle also feels like it would bend if you put any weight in the bucket. This seems more like a Dollar Store purchase where you overpaid than a bucket costing almost $10!

Look, a pail is a pail and a bucket is a bucket, right? Wrong! I have a blue pail like this, from United Plastics - same size but couldn't find another and I wanted another so I wouldn't have to dump out all my car washing stuff when I needed it in the house. It arrived all shiny - a little thin, but I plopped it in the sink and filled it up. When I picked it up, it was like "Good God! Both sides collapsed into the middle, water overflowed and the spots where the handle was attached showed immediate white stress marks!
This pail is labeled "Heavy-duty, pliable plastic", Amazon needs to drop the "Heavy-duty" part and underscore "pliable plastic". This won't last long and is only good if you need no more that 2-3 inches of water. One high-rater said "Great quility". I don't know exactly what "quility" is, but if he meant that this bucket is as sturdy as a thin quilt, he's got it! To sum up : it looks pretty, but it wouldn't work in a little kid's sandbox. :(
