About the Author

Collector's Compass series editor Leon Castner is co-host of the popular radio program Trash or Treasure and president and head auctioneer of Castner's, a multidiscipline appraisal and auction firm headquartered in New Jersey. He also serves as president of the New Jersey Auctioneers and is senior partner of National Appraisal Consultants. Castner holds a doctorate in valuation science, and his appraisal work has included Watergate and presidential papers.
