5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Reference Material, November 9, 2007
This review is from: United States Patents (Firearm Suppressor Patents) (Paperback)
Anyone in the business of silencer design will benefit from this reference book. Both from creating your own design and avoiding infringing on patented designs. There is a substancial amount of information to be gleaned from between the lines, the author is very knowledgable with technical aspects of silencer design and offers a great deal of insight. It is not simply a collection of patents.

At first i thought the cost was a little high, but once the book was delivered i knew it was worth the money.
This book not only shows you the designs of the suppressers but it also gives a brief history of why it was made and who made it. This author researched the designs very well, which makes this book a good buy for not only the serious reader but also anyone interested in suppresser designs. This book takes you step by step through the years and shows you the changing design technology incorporated in the design of firearm suppressers. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in firearm suppressers.

While it is easy to look up patents on-line at the USPTO, having all the relevant patents in a book at your finger-tips is much easier for reference and helps with searching for related items. Very nicely compiled book, highly recommended for those with an interest in the field.
