This is a fun book that is loaded with "trivia" about each state.
It not only has the state birds, but capitol cities, state flowers, and
other state animals when they exist. Some states have lists of famous
people. The cheerful and often funny illustrations help identify
what each state has within it, like seaside, or farm land or whatever.

It could be useful in many ways for kids and their parents who like
maps, geography, travelling, etc.

This is a wonderful book! I laughed as I read it. I purchased it for a friend who is a 5th grade teacher. Children will love to have this book read to them and older children can learn about our fifty state birds and other fun facts while enjoying the humor of Hudson Talbot. Acceptance, cooperation and diversity are showcased at the conclusion of The United Tweets of America Pageant. What a hoot of a book. Very highly recommend.

I bought this book for a fourth grade boy that was hospitalized. He loved it. Lots of great information about each state and state bird.Done in a fun way. Interesting and fun facts presented...The adults liked it as much as he did. It's a keeper.

My 5 year old granddaughter and I love birds. This book fills us with laughter, facts and enjoyment.

I gave this book to my nephew at Thanksgiving. The book is in state by state format with great illustrations, lots of information and cheeky humor that kids will love. My seven year nephew loves referring back to it as he loves books in this format, and loves trivia. He even came off the school bus the other day with the book under his arm. It gives a lot of quick facts/info not just about state birds, but other things about the each state. Perfect for kids, but adults will enjoy it, too.

A friend first showed me this book and I knew immediately I needed to order it for my 6 year old granddaughter. I was glad she loved it as much as I did. We have read the entire book several times and she loves to name the states and their bird. Such a fun informative book ! We had out- of- town company this weekend and once they picked it up they couldn't put it down. They are wanting a copy of their own !

Our Five year old who is facinated with maps and birds loves this book - and so do all adults. We read a few states each night and he even is starting to get the jokes in it! A fun, informative read.

The best kind of kid's book--just as much for for the grownup as it is for the child. Interesting facts are a bonus.

I bought a copy for my 8 year old grandson and a copy for myself. The book is well illustrated, humorous, and educational. Excellent choice.
