I was given this book shortly after I was diagnosed with MPD. This book is written in easy enough language that even my "inside kids"/alters were able to understand it. I really found it helpful to give a basic outline of how multiplicity develops and how it works.

I have a friend with MPD. and read this book to gain insight and understanding. It is compassionate, short, concise, accurate and easy to read. I recommend the book for those suffering from MPD. and for anybody who wants to know how childhood abuse causes personalities to fracture.

This is an excellent little book. I believe it is especially good for people who are just realising that they have multiple personalities and for people who suspect they may.
I personaly found it most helpful as it assisted me in coming out of denial and fully realising that I have multiple personalities. One thing particularly good about this book is that child personalities as well as adults are able to understand it which i believe adds a very valuable quality to the book.
