Universal 12V DC to 110V AC Power Inverter plus + 5V USB Adapter

The AC adapter worked the first and only time I tried it; however, the USB port/adapter did not work at all, no matter how much I fiddled with it and different devices I plugged into it. Also, there was a weird burning smell coming from the unit. The name brand on it reads "The Migration Office Migration Family". I have no idea what that could even begin to mean, but half the unit didn't work so even if you luck out and get a good one, how long before it stops working?

I say just avoid this all together. I live for a day when most everything is reviewed online and makers of garbage products like this will no longer have customers.

Also, I have purchased inverters for most of my family and most all of them, no matter the brand or cost, end up breaking in about 1-2 years BECAUSE THEY LEAVE THEM PLUGGED IN ALL THE TIME! Only plug your inverter in when it is in use (unless it is one of the larger units that connects directly to your battery).

This product works great. I love it. I use the phone charger that comes with my cell phone just like plugging it in the wall at home. No need for a new car charger with every cell phone purchase.

The product is great vaue for money and the distributor sent it to me in 2 days.....
The drawback : with this product is that the charging stem is fixed, so if u have a mazda like me - with the charger on - u wouldn't be able to put you vehicle in PARK since it is not adjustable,
- the power light is also not very conspicuous

Cool one. This power inverter is better then my earlier one which i purchased in walmart.Is doesnt make any noise while you plug in my outlet. The earlier one which i purchased in walmart had a lot of noise.

I do a lot of road trips, so thought this would be perfect to help keep my laptop and cell phone charged. This thing did not even come close to powering anything, plus on top of it it got extremely hot and shut itself off after about a 2 hours of being plugged in. It also interfered with my other electronic devices (mp3 player, cd player). I would look for another product.

I bought this product for use in an emergency. This product died shortly after being connected to my notebook, even with the car running and charging the battery continuously, 15 minutes were itself sufficient to stop working. I am disappointed with the resources

This product worked at a car charger, but it has a
relay that turns it off. It get's hot within 4 min
of use and then it goes off. After it cools it starts
working again. I suggest the manufacturer to put a bigger
cooling fan inside as it overheats.

I use the usb side to charge up my android phone in the car, it works fine, I also used the AC side to hook in my plug adapter and it worked fine too. I was just looking for the cheapest cigarette lighter I could find with decent reviews and this one turned to be exactly what I needed. A good deal.

Works great. I don't know what I would do without it! The USB power however is hardly adequate to run my Palm Pre. But it's not a huge deal since I just plug it in the standard AC plug.

The specification on this says it converts power to 110v~220V. This is not true!! ONce you receive the product you realise it can only convert to 110V output!! This was rather disappointing as I travel quite frequently on business and was hoping to be able to use this while on the move wherever I go.
Fortunately for me, some of the main items that I frequently would need to use in the car (my Laptop, Phone charger etc) support 110-220v, so not a complete disaster. However I though I should put this up as a warning for folks in order that they don't get misled by the description on the website!!
