Product Description

Universal 3D Glasses - These glasses work with all major brands of 3D TV's that use an IR signal. Such as Mitsubishi, SONY, Panasonic, Samsung (2010 and earlier), Toshiba, Sharp, Philips & Pioneer.

Fits Great Over Prescription Glasses - According to the Vision Council of America 64% of the adult American population wears eyeglasses for one reason or another. That's over 150,000,000 people in the U.S. who wear prescriptive eyewear and that's already excluding those who use contacts! So in other words about 1 in 2 people will have to put 3D glasses over their prescription glasses.

This is where these 3D glasses really excel over other 3D glasses. They were designed to be prescription eyewear friendly for maximum comfort.

Active Sync Smart Technology - These glasses use an active sync technology to connect with your 3D TV. This means NO PROGRAMMING is necessary like other brands of Universal 3D Glasses (e.g. Xpand's X103 3D Glasses).

Simple One Button Operation with Auto Shutoff Feature - This design is one that just makes obvious sense to us. A simple one button On/Off Power button - no guessing or messing around with a button that also doubles as a programming button to make things more complicated than it needs to be.

In addition, it also has an Auto Shutoff feature so when it doesn't receive an IR signal after about 2 minutes the glasses will automatically power down to preserve battery life and avoid a dead battery the next time you go to use them.

Rechargeable, Not Battery Powered - These glasses are rechargeable not battery powered. On a full charge (approximately 3 hours) these glasses can run for around 40 hours before needing to be recharged again.

ALthough these glasses are advertised as compatible with the Panasonic Viera Series , after I contacted TAW Global ( the vendor ) with my complaint that the glasses hold their sync for <2 min. I was told that they have discovered that there are " sync problems with the VT30 series " of Panasonic Viera TV. I had just purchased a T-CP55VT30 from Amazon. The glasses , even when they work provide a somewhat washed out picture compared to the OEM glasses that came with the set. They were returned and I received my money back (minus the $10 I payed for return shipping- I foolishly didn't buy them thru Amazon.) The seller "cancelled" the transaction consequently I couldn't post my findings at the other site and am taking this opportunity to share my experience in hopes of helping others avoid some thrown out money.

The Amazon reviews of Panasonic-compatible 3-D glasses made me comfortable buying one pair to check out, and they worked just fine over my prescription glasses, so I bought another pair for my wife. Together we watched Avatar to its end, which is about 3 hours, and were both well pleased. No discomfort from the glasses, or the 3-D viewing experience. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable accommodate regular eyeglasses. My only complaint is that viewing 3-D effects on a home TV set is limited by the size of the TV screen and the necessary viewing distance. That's a limitation of the whole technology, not the glasses. When I can sit closer to the screen so it fills my view with no "tunnel" cutoff, then I think there will be no noticeable interruption of the 3-D effect. But for the occasional enjoyment of a well-produced 3-D movie, these Blick glasses are just fine.

I have a Sony 3D TV that came with 2 pairs of Sony 3D glasses. Most of my 3D titles are not for young children, but I still needed 3 pairs of glasses for all the household "adults" to view at once. I also needed something to fit over my big, oversize, "avionic" style glasses. (I like to have lenses cover the majority of my face so I have less blur on the sides, hence the big non-hip glasses.)

These 3D Blick glasses claim to be better than the Sony ones, and they do fit "better" over my glasses due to less material along the top (near the forehead), and have less pressure squeezing them tightly on my ears, so in that sense I would have to say that they do fit better. However, the Sony glasses seem to block out more distractions due to that extra material along the top. I have found that when watching 3D, anything outside the realm of the 3D TV causes my eyes to try to flip flop back to 2D. I allieviate this by sitting closer to the TV (filling up more of my field of vision) and wearing a hat (which blocks my eyes from looking over the edge). Of course, if I could wear these without prescription glasses, they would be closer to my face and negate the above mentioned issues.

I charged the glasses for 3 hours with a claim of 40 hours of use. So far I have not watched enough movies to determine how long they will last between charges.

Comes with a nice hard shell case, wiping cloth, and charging cable.

Overall, I do prefer wearing them to the Sony ones due to being slightly more comfortable. I also thought at first that they were not as clear as the Sony glasses until I noticed that Blick glasses come with TWO sides of protective peel offs on each lens, and I had only removed one side. Now they are nice and clear.

This Blick is the best fit over our eye glasses, and works very well with the High Power 3D IR Emitter for my 73" Mitsubishi DLP-3D ready TV.

I spoke with the company selling these Blick 3D glasses and was told that they would work fine with my Mitsubishi LaserVue TV. After ordering two pairs, neither worked at all.

These glasses would be great if they worked. They say they are compatable with samsung 2011 models. I have an 8000 series samsung 3d tv and these glasses did not work with my tv. Had to return for a refund that I recieved very quickly. I am disapointed that they didnt work because this design is what I was looking for.

They talk like these are so good, but these are the same 3D glasses just bigger lense! Quit all the talk and just make a good pair of 3D GLASSES!! They don't even work with the best Plasma TV out selling today, the Panasonic. Save your money!
